TORPHINS GALA SAT 20th AUG 2011 :Public Park
Report : The Gala Committee will I know be doing a report, as they have done in the past, But I must just to say it was a fantastic weekend over all. The weather cleared up on Friday evening in time to allow the junior Disco to take place with a good attendance and atmosphere, the Gala Day was treated to warm Sunshine throughout the day, with some locals taking the chance to linger in the park for a quiet drink as the crowds drifted away, and preparations for th evening Dance began, which again went off well. The Sunday Morning arrived again with bright sunshine, for the well attended Praise in the Park.

I should like to thank the Gala Commitee and all those others involved for a great weekend.
